Shipping & Returns

Juicy Corals is Determined to Safely Ship Our Prized Specimens to
You Using the Fastest, Most Reliable Carriers Out There. 

All Sales Are Final and Returns will only be accepted under special conditions at buyers expense. 
We will not at any time refund any monies, but store credit or replacement corals can be awarded

Currently we are using FedEx Priority Overnight delivery by 10:30am most locations for all shipments. FedEx has proven to be our most reliable carrier. They handle our orders with greater care than UPS and DHL and orders arrive on time much more consistently.

Florida Resident's: $35
O-R-C-A Members: $20
  • If you have a carrier that you feel is more reliable or cost effective, we would try to ship with the carrier and shipment method of your choosing.  Be aware that though some carriers appear to be cheaper, they can have minimum weight fees, oversize box fees , and pick up fees which may make them just as expensive or more expensive than our shipping carrier. Please keep in mind that our alive arrival guarantee may not apply when using other shipping methods.
  • If you have an account with FedEx or another shipping carrier, we would be more than happy to ship billing your account if you can get better rate.  Just make sure that you send us all the information that we need:
  1. The name of the carrier that you have an account with
  2. Your account number
  3. The proper address the order should be sent to
  4. Make sure that you contact your carrier to make sure that we are authorized to bill your account for the charges
  • Some carriers will let you schedule the pickup and delivery destination your self.  Just make sure to contact us for any information that you may need from us, or for information we may need to process the shipping.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

  • Juicy Corals ship orders on Wednesdays for Thursday Morning Delivery.   We Drive all orders Directly to the Airport nearly 90 miles round trip at the very last minute to minimize time in transit and shipping stress on the corals.  We are averaging just 12-13 hours in transit which gives your order the best chance for not only survival, but to arrive completely colored up without taking a hit from shipping.  However, some corals just do not ship very well, so losing some color on birdsnest corals or encrusting montiporas are common but when placed in a stable tank with good parameters, the full color should return in just a couple days after delivery.
  • We want your order to be received by you as conveniently as possible, so we can ship to your place of business, your home, or a FedEx facility nearest to your work or home.  We can also have FedEx leave the package at your doorstep.  Keep in mind that this may not be a good idea during the summer and winter months or in other extreme weather conditions..

PACKAGING PROCEDURES

  • When possible we use recycled heavy weight shipping boxes and any extra space in the box will be filled with recycled packing material.  This will help us to be more environmentally friendly. Your corals will be double or triple bagged and filled with medical grade oxygen.  At times we will also add extra material inside the inner bag to ensure that your corals are in contact with water even if the box is turned upside down.  We find that this also helps prevent LPS and soft corals from rubbing against the bag causing burn marks which can lead to infection.  If possible all corals will be shipped floating upside down in the bags.  Using this method, damage do to stress and shipping is minimized and your coral will arrive healthy, happy, and ready to grow.  We use medical grade oxygen because we have found that in the rare cases of transit delays, our corals have been able to survive up to four days with no DOAs

ARRIVE ALIVE GUARANTEE / DOA PROCEDURE

  • Our corals are healthy and happy when shipped out. WE WILL NOT SHIP UNHEALTHY CORALS!!!
  • If for some reason your order does not survive the trip you will receive either a replacement coral store credit. This credit will be valid for 6 months. The Buyer shall be responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement coral.  There is no refund on shipping unless the carrier has failed to ship on time and has issued Juicy Corals a full or partial refund. In these instances, your that money will either be refunded to you as soon as we are reimbursed from FedEx or the funds will be credited to your account for your next purchase(your choice).  Once FedEx returns the fund to us, we will contact you and let you decide whether you want the refund or the credit.  If the corals do not come on the guaranteed day and arrive alive and happy, we will still credit your account or refund the full amount that FedEx reimburses us with

  • We will ship to your residence.  We will ship to your place of business.  We will ship to be held at a FedEx Facility of your choice.  Our orders are meant to be opened within one hour of the delivery time, ESPECIALLY during extreme weather months.  If you choose to have your package left at your doorstep, or be held at a FedEx Facility, you do so at your own risk, unless the package is picked up and opened within one hour of delivery.  This will insure that any heat or cold packs will not continue to raise or drop the temperature in the package while sitting in a climate controlled area.  Leaving packages sealed in extreme weather months greatly increases the risk of coral losses.

  • In the rare instances of DOAs or other issues with corals,  we need pictures of the expired or other issues with corals in the packaging it came in within two hours of the delivery time.  We will not be responsible for packages left at the shipping facility for hours on end or for packages left at your door.  We expect that our packages will be opened immediately upon delivery ESPECIALLY in extreme weather months when heat or cold packs are added.  If you ask us to hold at a FedEx Facility, please pick up your package immediately upon arrival as heat packs will continue to produce heat for up to 72 hours.  If corals are left in a climate controlled FedEx Facility all day you run the risk of overheating the corals which may cause fatalities.  In such instances, we will not be responsible for DOAS.

  • We will also not be responsible for improper tank parameters or improper acclimation procedures.  If you have any questions on how to properly acclimate your corals, please contact us and we will be glad to walk you through it!  In cases of very expensive or large corals, our Insurance company requires us to provide the dead skeleton to claim the loss. 

If at any time you receive a faded or browned out coral, please contact us so that we may determine what caused it and how to ensure that it will not happen again.  We will also do what ever it takes to make sure that you are happy and satisfied with your purchase.  Before we started this business, it used to burn us up when we bought rare and exotic corals from high priced websites, only to receive fresh cut browned out nubs that were probably cut from the underside of the colony the day before.  We want you to be able to show off your new corals to your friends without being embarrassed or having to explain that it will one day color up and grow to be a nice colorful coral.  It is our belief that every corals (unless stated otherwise) should arrive fully healed or well encrusted, and colorful enough to show off to all your friends within hours of hitting your tank!  Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction and we rely on your good word of mouth to grow our business and keep providing you with the juiciest corals the ocean has to offer!  If there is ever an issue, please don't hesitate to email us at juice@juicycorals.com
