Purple Hornets zoanthids

These are some of the most exotic, beautiful, colorful zoanthids in our collection.  We have watched them go for more than $100 consistently on ebay.  This was another cool morph that we picked up to seed our farm with and we are only releasing a couple heads until we have a decent sized mother colony.  We take great care while fragging our exotic zoanthids and rare palythoas.  We chip or cut the rock or plug that the polyp is attached to and glue it to a new plug so that it will not slime off and float away in your tank.  We wish we still had all the cool zoas that we have lost from floating back into the rocks.

this is the very last frag we will have as these are slow growers.  it is a single mature polyp
